Our Books
My Type 2 diabetes diagnosis became the beginning of a deeper journey that led me to reflect honestly on food, stress, wellness, faith, identity, and healing. Along the way, I discovered that our relationship with food is often shaped by far more than hunger alone. It is influenced by our experiences, emotions, beliefs, culture, and the stories we tell ourselves. Understanding those connections became an important part of the transformation that followed.
The books and companion resources offered through A Moore Abundant Life were created to encourage reflection, personal growth, and intentional living. They are intended to inspire others to approach wellness with greater awareness, grace, and compassion—recognizing that meaningful change often begins with small, consistent, and intentional progress.
The journey is not always linear, and progress is not measured by perfection. There may be setbacks, pauses, and seasons when growth feels difficult to see. Yet each day offers a new opportunity to begin again, extend grace to ourselves, and continue moving toward the abundant life God desires for us.

Mindful Baking Guide
Mindful baking is about intention, balance, and nourishment. Rather than restriction, it focuses on making thoughtful ingredient choices that support well-being while still honoring enjoyment.
Core Principles:
1. Replace, don’t remove – Maintain structure when reducing sugar or fat.
2. Use whole ingredients – Choose minimally processed options.
3. Reduce sugar gradually – Let your palate adjust over time.
4. Honor satisfaction – Enjoy treats without guilt. Smart Substitutions: - Applesauce
for butter (reduces fat) - Coconut sugar for refined sugar - Gluten-free flour blends for
accessibility – Dark chocolate for lower sugar content Mindset Shift: Mindful baking
invites you to see food not as “good” or “bad,” but as part of a balanced life.
