Events, Workshops and Speaking
Our Workshops
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
— 3 John 1:2
Through A Moore Abundant Life, I offer in-person workshops and retreat sessions for churches and women’s ministries that explore mindful eating and wellness from a faith-centered perspective.
Drawing from personal testimony, Scripture, and practical reflection, these sessions invite participants to move away from diet culture and toward a healthier, Spirit-led relationship with food and the body.
Sessions may be offered as stand-alone church workshops, women’s retreat pull-out sessions, or small-group experiences and are tailored to align with each ministry’s vision and goals.
My goal is to create safe, thoughtful spaces where people can reflect more deeply on wellness, healing, mindful living, faith, identity, and our relationship with food and self-care.
-
Grounded in compassion, my presentations reflect practical insights and lived experiences. Drawing from both my professional background in Sociology and Ethnic Studies and my personal wellness journey, I seek to encourage conversations that are honest, restorative, faith-centered, and empowering.
-
Topics may include:
Mindful and intentional living
Healing our relationship with food
Faith and wellness
Emotional wellness and self-reflection
Holistic approaches to health and balance
Identity, culture, and lived experience.
Personal growth and spiritual renewal
Whether speaking at churches, women’s retreats, community organizations, wellness gatherings, educational settings, or special events, my hope is to offer encouragement, thoughtful dialogue, practical reflection, strategies, and tools that supports growth in body, soul, and spirit.
